Our Story
In 1998, Ps Gerard and Sue Keehan moved from London after establishing London CLC (which later became Hillsong Church London) to Perth to plant Globalheart Church. Beginning at first with small meetings in their home, the church quickly grew in size and began facilitating services out of Edith Cowan University.
In 2005, the church purchased land in the city of Joondalup, Western Australia, and with the help of many hands turned a former commercial warehouse into the first permanent church venue.
Across the last decade, God has blessed our church and we have seen the Globalheart Church family expand to include Lusaka, Zambia (2014); Hamburg, Germany (2016); Montreal, Canada (2022); and plan to begin a church in rwanda in 2026/27.
As well as seeing fruit in our locations, Globalheart Church has been privileged to partner with compassion australia to see more than 1200 children sponsored and set free from poverty. In 2014, Globalheart Church established a men’s rehabilitation centre (Tenacious House), which has helped more than 300 men build new lives.
In 2023, we celebrated 25 years of Globalheart Church, praising God for all He has done in the last 25 years, and committing the next 25 years to Him in surrender.
