1. Think of the last time a crisis or bad news hit you. What was your reaction — and looking back, did that reaction move you toward God or away from Him?
2. David "encouraged himself in the Lord." What does that practically look like for you? What specific truths, scriptures, or actions could you take the next time trouble comes?
3. Is there a current situation where you've let a "storm" get inside your heart rather than keeping it out? What could you do today to recenter yourself and come closer to God?
